Mindful Movement for Teachers and Students

As a teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience, I have developed classes and packages to assist teachers with managing work-related stress throughout the school term. I have conducted postgraduate research into the benefits of yoga and meditation for reducing stress and promoting well-being. The findings sparked the development of my program to help teachers nurture themselves and increase mind-body awareness.

In my experience as a classroom teacher I observed firsthand the benefits of providing students with simple mindfulness techniques to relax. I have taught mindful movement exercises to students from Kindergarten to Year 12.


Program: Mindful Movement for Teachers (6 weeks)


A course specifically designed for teachers including a combination of mindfulness meditation, hatha yoga and relaxation techniques.

60 minute sessions on site at the school.

Program: Mindful Movement for Students (4 - 6 weeks)


Classes designed with children in mind. Classes range from 15 minutes to 45 minutes (depending on the age of the students). Exercises and techniques are age specific.
